When Nikki Ang-angco was pregnant, she still wanted to gaze incredibly and be pampered. Her exploration for a nail polish that would be safe enough for pregnant women to use soon gave fashion to another kind of birth. Ang-angco teamed up with Katrina Armamento, a girlfriend from college, and established Organic Rituals Spa.
Tucked into the mezzanine of a structure in Greenhills, "More than just a accepted spa, it's a lifestyle of environmental consciousness," Ang-angco says. "We put faith attraction should be in unanimity with nature at all times. We offer a plain range of soothing earth-friendly services." To this end, Organic Rituals uses unstudied and methodical essential oils, soaks, scrubs, and lotions in their kneading and body treatments. Even the hint oils used in the reed diffusers in their care areas are all natural.

While Earth Day is officially Wednesday, April 22, here are some Earth Day-inspired happenings around township through the end of the month. In honor of Earth Day 2009, has asked some notable eco-friendly celebrities to make labels for a circumscribed head of their Superbly Restorative Argan Body Lotion. One hundred percent of rete proceeds will be donated to the Waterkeeper Alliance (whose adjoining bough is the Puget Soundkeeper Alliance), with a ideal of $100,000. Actor Adrian Grenier, troubadour Erykah Badu, pro surfer Kelly Slater and a tandem of students from Parsons The New School for Design have all contributed labels for this project.
The liniment contains Argan fuel from a tow-headed patrons women’s cooperative in Morocco. Argan lubricator comes from the leaf of the Argan tree and is sumptuous in vitamin E and essential fatty acids. It runs $55 for 16 ounces and will be handy in stores on April 20.
